S2 Coupe 1991 3b Engine , Electrical Gremlins!!

Hi people, i did a silly thing a couple of months ago now, what happened was, i came to start the car after being laid up for a couple of months and the battery was dead, i needed to get it going to take for Mot so didn't have much time that day, so i used my Charger with start option to get the car going to save time. ( I know i shouldn't have!!)
On trying to start i heard some weird noises under the dash area?? Got the car going but since then, i now have Abs Light permanently on?? and the Electric Windows are also Inoperative now?? This is only since that day?? I have full power and in no way are these problems affecting performance but this is very strange??
I would like to know if the two Fusible links above the main Relays on the Drivers side are anything to do with this problem?? Ie, what these links control??

Do you mean the fuse breakers rather than fusible links? Look up the fuse location for the items not working & see if there is power at the fuse/fuse breaker. Remember that there is a fuse under the ABS module cover. It is possible that the ABS module has been fried.

Take out the window and sunroof relay, remove the cover and check for dry joints / broken solder.

Check the fuse that is in the top of the ABS relay in the aux relay carrier 10a from memory.

Check the earths on the A pillar.

Was the car stored with the fuse box lid off? Has there been any water get in?

The large fusible links are generally for electric sunroof, heated seats, electric seats and the like.

Thanks for the reply, i will check the things you have mentioned and let you know, it just seems strange that all was ok until trying to start with the boost charger but anyway, i will have a look around the Abs unit and check the fuse etc, i will have a dig under the dash and take a look at the electric window relay.
The car has been covered with a proper car cover whilst off road and No water has got through the bulkhead fuse box lid either but will re-check all fuses etc
