HIDs in an S2/coupe are only possible in ellipsoids/projector headlights right? In standard reflectors they would blind everyone?

thought so. I had HIDs in my A4, which were brilliant but they died last year. I have to change temporarily for each MOT/Katsastus here so I ended up just going back to standard for a year but it's been so crap that I've ordered a new set from Hong Kong.
The standard lights in the CQ seem to be OK (reflectors must be in good condition) so I've just ordered a pair of Nightbreakers for them. There's not much choice in the pre-facelift coupes I think.
