    car won't start

    hello guys,

After a bad connection in my luggage compartment there was a fuse melted in the fuse box(s4) strange because it was the fuse with the right amp.
After repairing the wires, I rebuild a new fusebox(thanks to goodazz). Now i want to start the car but the starter does nothing. if i turn the ignition switch the light of the battery on the display goes away and the clima turns off like always before. i hear a relay clicking but nothing more. I thinking i maybe connected the wires wrong on the new fusebox but I'am not a specialist in this so can someone tell me (except the colors that are marked) were a connection with color has to come on the fusebox. is it maybe the alarm? pictures are welcome.

    regards,
  • John.

I'd be for checking the simplest thing first.......battery voltage.

i controle that and it was okay,
i bridge relay and then the car starting but no running
Finally i just open the central pump, and the plates are also burned so it was not just the cable, is the central pump also the brain of the alarm?
on the diagrams it's always by "K"

        regards,

If you have remote locking, i.e. infrared or radio frequency, the central locking pump has a connection to a starting relay. If your central locking pump is fried, you will need to replace it to get your car started *OR* you *might* (I need more research to find the B3/B4 equivalent relay to the C4 relay) be able to jumper the relay and get the car started. The interlock is via T16/1 in the lower portion of the diagram.

            Okay, that was relatively easy.

Went to S2Central.net to look at Audi S2 avant wiring diagrams. Ctrl F'd on "central" and found the "B85" pdf.

From that I extracted two diagrams:

The first shows the connection from the V94 Central Locking Pump to the J60 interlock relay in Position 8 in the relay panel:

The second shows where postion 8 is:

Which turns out to be an "204" relay (the second one from the left is Position 8) like the one in my 93 UrS4:

Which means that it can be by-passed/jumpered something like this:

That is something else, not the central locking, e.g. immobilizer or the like.

i already take out the after market alarm, a year ago. there was cutting and not isolating in the wires, i placed new cable looms so i hope the car will be better and better
