You can change the style the forum displays by selecting your preferred style at the bottom left of the site.
We have made an enhancement so that old threads should now link from search results to the correct thread. This is not yet in place for single post links
I have LED's in the main beam. They are great at illuminating the sides of the road but like Steve said, they don't just don't have the distance.
I'll be removing mine for a nightbreaker/relay setup

I'm sure they will improve over time, however I'm certain the rated lumen metre output they proport to have is incorrect. Perhaps some are way better than others, but I bet you would have to pay top Dollar for them.
I read somewhere that the maximum lumen output currently achievable is less than 3000 lux and this is why OEMs are using LED arrays rather than single units.
