Change trip computer options

Hi guys, now that I am looking into getting a boost gauge fitted, I'd like to get rid of S4 trip computer (boost, miles, G-meter ....) and fit one below. I really don't mind it being in KM, honestly I prefer it over miles. I also have chip that, if I remember correctly, tells instrument cluster what to measure?

How easy/hard it is to do, and has anyone done something like this?

Hmmm!! Interesting!!! As i plan to do this in my 200 also. The display with boost on top left is difficult to find, and, as i am gonna use an boost gauge, it will be nice to have that. Dont know iff the ecu wire connected there will do the trick..

I have a spare, don't know if it works though I quite like the option of seeing current fuel consumption, as it helps getting it down. Remember getting 7.7l/100km on my V6 by adjusting throttle slighty every now and then

My best was 7.2 in my 3B engined coupe... but at steady 70 km/h for 250 km lol...

Motorway is boring either way, so might as well put some thought in and save money on the way.

That's not a "chip". It is a coding plug.

Coding chips' PN is 4A0919100 without any letters, does it match trip computer I have? As I have a spare S4 trip computer, so thinking it might be from that?

Why not swap in a V8 S6 dash? They have consumption meters as standard, and S6 dash does look better.

Because they cost a fortune? And to get one for LHD car is close to impossible I think.

How much do they cost on your side? I got mine for 80 euro.

You're already registered on Audi-Style. Try looking there. Janka has lots of those panels.

I haven't seen one even tbh. Yeh I've seen some for sale on audi style, but I can't fit them. And I have coding chip and trip computer so won't cost me anything

LHD vs RHD but then again I guess I could swap each clock separatel. But anyways, not interested in that. Want to convert mine.

Oh, you need a RHD one. You mentioned above that you need LHD. Then of course, futile effort.
