Was the S2 ever made without boardcomputer ? Got my hands on a instrument panel today that dident have one, maybe they just changed the dials ?

The trip comp/autocheck module can be swapped in B4 dashes. Probably someone changed it at some point. C4 dashes on the other hand, cannot be separated like that. -

Mine has a boardcomputer but minicheck instead of auto check.. But I think that too was changed at some point in its life (by an Audi dealer I think)Comment

Not sure what you are saying but C4 instrument clusters can have a board computer added if they didn't come with one. You need to swap the Autocheck board without the board (trip) computer and add the proper board computer stalk. Since only 92 spec UrS4s got board (trip) computers in North America lots of folks have done this.

Got educated on the C4 dash.
B4 swap doesn't involve the dash disassembly. That's what I meant.
