fuel gauge and clock + tripcomputer failure

hey guys ive been having an annoying problem. the fuel gauge, trip computer and clock all of a sudden died on me after i disconnected my battery. i dont know if its related or not. my temp gauge is a problem also but i think thats of the MJTS. ive included a picture for reference. i dont think its the cluster itself. somebody said poor ground wiring but where the hell is the ground from the dash ? frustrating to say the least. ive also taken out all possible fuses that could cause an issue. i disconnected the battery and put her on a charger for quite some time. perhaps the display doesnt work properly if it doesnt get enough voltage? the voltage meter says 10 volts but i dont know if thats accurate

im thinking its the voltage regulator/ alternator since engine electrical says that all parts are connected to that without any switches.
