VDO oil pressure sender problem

Hello

I have a problem with VDO oil pressure sender. Is there any way to make sure, that the sender is working properly.
The gauge shows me, that there is no connection (Maxes out). I did try to turn one nut on the sender, and it ended up spinning the bolt, that goes inside that sender. So maybe I damaged it and it is not working anymore. It did work, when I disassembled my engine. And I´m quite sure I assembled everything the same way.

Is it supposed to send a signal, when ignition is turned on? I would like to test it without starting the engine.

Try swapping the wires, if you have them wrong, it causes it to max out.
