    Lighting dimmer switch for Wideband

    Hi Guys,

I'm wiring a wideband sensor in to my 3B today and wondering what wire i tap into for controlling the instrument backlighting?

Do i need to the instrument cluster out or is there an easier one you can suggest.

    Thanks
    Gordon

Gray/blue wire. Can be found behind instrument cluster, radio, heater controls/climatronic, cigarette lighter.

If you are mounting in one of the centre air vents I would tap into it behind the dash switches

Cheers guys, much appreciated. It's been a long time coming but almost ready for a run with my new RS2 setup, 3" exhaust etc etc. Should be fun. I'll keep you posted.

The ashtray light is always a good candidate for gauge lighting power because it is downstream of the dimmer switch.
