OK you electrical gurus I think I have found the problem from my previous thread an intermittent fault on the flasher/hazards (when I either indicate right or left the hazards flash ) .Also when I lock or unlock the car the flasher,s operate once to acknowledge either the car is armed or disarmed. This has never happened in the past .When I unlock or lock the car and the flashers operate then I know that when I drive off and indicate right or left the hazards will flash. Question is this could it be the immobiliser that is causing the problem ,I have renewed the stalk (new one), the relay and the hazard switch.HELP .Also how difficult would it be to remove the system it's a Virtual Key 2 Clifford alarm.Derek

Hi Derek, just a suggestion, try pushing the interior light button switch thats on the b pillar when you open the door in and out a few times, and maybe spraying a touch of wd40 into it aswell?
Could try the passenger side too?
This happened on my dad's 80 thats been stood for a while, said he flicked that switch a few times and it stopped? whether it was just a fluke or not I don't know, someone will probably correct me
Worth a go anyway, one on the slam panel too -
Check the fuse under the hood. If the fuse is loose the hazards won't work. Pull the fuse and tweak the "legs" out so it goes back in with some friction. This was the fault on my 20v 7A. A loose connection at the fuse.Comment
