This might be worth a sticky, i was installing a Dashcam and needed to tap into accessory power to turn the unit on/off. Much to my surprise this is not actually available at the radio harness, and come to think of it was rather annoying having to manually power the radio on/off.
Good news is it exists at the ignition switch, small red wire on pin 86s. From there it ties into the instrument cluster autocheck module, but its far easier to tap into the feed directly at the switch.
The power source is direct from the 30amp rail in the fuse box so i though it prudent to fit an inline fuse holder before connecting into the stereo and dashcam.
Works great, as soon as the ignition key is turned it switches the radio and camera on, and will only power them off when the key is physically removed from the lock
