Horn always on.

Hi,

Doing the final touch ups for the first MOT in many years.

Since I changed from the ugly 4 spoke airbag steering wheel to the nicer 3 spoke airbag version the horn is always on, so i've left the horn unplugged at steering wheel.

I guess the issue is somewhere behind the airbag but can't figure out what.
Does anyone have a explanatory picture of the steering wheel horn system to share?

Or any other tips, would be helpful.

For future reference:

Found the issue.
Removed airbag and horn 'actuator plate' with the three small micro switches and found that someone had put the wires at the wrong place.

I hooked the black wire up to the tab near center of steering wheel where the red one in the picture is attached and vice versa.

So now I have a normal horn for the first time with this steering wheel.
