Ambient temperature sensor location

Hello guys

Just bought a New Ambient sensor, but cant find the place to mount it. The old one was not fitted, so im starring blindly behind the front left headlight 😉 need help

Yes Dave, that is good, but as for location, Mine was behind the driver side lower grille, of the bumper.

And by driver's side you mean LHD driver's side, correct? (or off side (left side) for the RHD crew)

Stock location is not the best as it gets lots of hot air from the rad nearby in slow traffic.
I found a better place, there is a hole in the end of the chassis leg on the left side, below the bolt holes for the cross member. Fits right in and is shielded from the rad by the lower air duct.

I will grab a pic later if i have time.

Think mine is near the left headlight somewhere tie wrapped to the chassis
