    Thermo Fuse

Where do I find the one for elec windows (apparently its silver).
My relay is fine, switch is fine so this is the last thing to check before taking the door card and checking motor, pulleys etc.

Jamie, look on the fuse box cover at the back of the engine compartment. It lists most fuses on the top.

David, are those 'thermo' fuses? - not sure what that means.

Hmmm, isn't the thermal cut out protection integrated into the relay? I would have thought so.

EDIT #1: Looking at the wiring diagram, the electric window relay unit is protected by a 10A fuse reference S43. Are you windows operating ocassionally or not at all?

EDIT #2: The above diagram was from the Haynes manual . I've since found another diagram which states this as a 20A thermo fuse. That sounds like the device you're looking for.
It is connected to pin 2 of the relay switch via a red/black wire so you can always trace it back if need be.

You mentioned it being silver, I think I remember seeing a silver device in the wiring/fuse panel above the drivers footwell.
Let us know how you get on.

Its under the dash!! remove the drivers side stowage pocket and you'll see it. IT's a small metal can that looks just like a fuse. Won't miss it.
