    Fuse for autocheck display?

Is there a fuse for the autocheck? I want to disable it!

I had a problem with the "bulb out" when I fitted the HID kit. The relay pin removal trick sorted that out.

I have a faulty oil pressure sensor that beeps when I go over about 2000rpm, but only after restarting the engine when warmed up already, eg stopping for fuel. No warnings when driving off first thing.

I now have the circle with the crossed-out bulb showing (the one that disappears after pressing the brake). It won't turn off, unless I stop the car and press the check button. It'll run through the battery, oil etc, then say OK and go clear. Set off driving and it pops up again. No bulbs are out.

Seems to be more grief than it's worth.

Oil pressure warnings come only to the autocheck so better not to disable it.

Fix the faults and that's it.

Karlos, the sensible thing to do is replace the sensor isn't it? They are a standard VAG part IIRC.

Or get some ear plugs so you can't hear the 'bong'
