I am looking for info about orange injectors. everibody says diferent.
0280 150 791 Porsche 911 Turbo (94-97) 311,0
0 280 150 791 33.95 Porsche Turbo
and other site said 39lb/h
what is the rightone?
what is the max hp with these injectors?
A good appoximation for maximum power on a 5-cylinder engine is the fuel flow rate in lbs/hr x 10. eg A 50lb/hr injector gives approx 100hp per cylinder and therefore 500bhp max on our engines.
Note that some headroom of approx 15% is required for reliable injector duty cycle. This would derate our theoretical 500bhp down to 425bhp with a max duty cycle of 85% on the injector.
I don't have specific info on the Bosch orange injector. Always be careful at what fuel pressure these results are quoted - its normally 3bar (43.5psi). When running higher rail pressure, then higher flow will result as per the formula below
F1/F2 = sqrt(P1)/sqrt(P2)
Always remember to get sets of injector carefully checked and flow matched for your application - manufacturing tolerances (and dirt if pre-used) can cause different performance and spray pattern.
so i mean, if i use the set of orange with k26/garret gt3076r arond 2.3 bar, the injectors will be slight around 4800 rpm. i am thinking about a second set of injectors for high rpm. i dont want to use biger injectors like 80lb/m. its will be so rough on 1000rpm.
If your peak estimated power is 500bhp then go for a set of 60lb/hr injectors. That will give you plenty of headroom - especially with a fuel rail pressure in excess of the normal 3bar that injectors are rated at...
Mihnea i remember you selling big injectors. please send me infos about prices with shipping fees to hungary. if you can give me a good price, i send the money to you. its important to me.
