    rs2 servo pumb

    Hi all
Had a leaking servo pumb plug ,cross one on top
when i did timing belt i changed the rubber o ring on the plug the plug was very tight !!! to tight for a o ring . New one lasted about a hours driveing & failed
So this time i used a special high pressure o ring this has lasted 500km failed
yesterday a lot of oil everywhere
what is the correct seal for here !!!
Has anyone alse had this problem ???
does pumb have a pressure relief valve ???
Could i have to much pressure ???
    Any ideas Thanks Jade

    Jade,
Did you replace the O-ring with the Audi part?? Get the Audi part and try again. The part number is 026 145 541. This includes the O-ring and a new "X" plug. I've done this on two different cars with great success.

I have used all defrent o-rings they all will fail cos they to big, use original audi o-ring and your problem will go away.

They may be a higher pressure, but the material might not play well with the mineral based hydraulic fluid.

The plug part number isn't listed for any S2 or RS2 models but it is the same for almost all Audi tandem pumps.
