ICE.... I've got all the ICE I need in a 3" S/S system, speakers and amps drain power and add weight which just slow the car down....!

You could still use the speaker in the dash where my gauge is, it would be a little restrained, but still ok to use.

    Cheers

You never saw my S when it was stripped light weight did you? it had NOTHING left in it apart from the headlining and carpet, both of which are obsolete and too easy to damage out of car, so they stayed! All I had was two front seats and that was it, ony electric windows on teh front doors, the rears were all removed and fixed up, no interior nothing! ripped the lot out! no spare, no tools nothing... I shed just under 140 kilos in total with the air con all out the car, was a very different car! its only back together at the moment ready for my house move (if it ever sells...)

The end gauge is (now) the EGT and tilited like the picture so at a glance if the needle is anything past vertical, then I know I am running too hot and need to find why or back off. You need to be able to tell at a glance if temps are ok, so as long as the needle isn't past vertical at a glance, the EGT are ok. The actual number doesn't matter, just is the needle past vertical...
