    What are the standard boost figures ?

    Hey gurus

    I have just installed a boost gauge and wanted to check that all is well with my new toy, so below are the readings I saw when I went for a quick blast (not accurately recorded so working from memory here)

    Idle = -0.6 Bar
    pootling (1000-1200rpm) = -0.8 - -1.0 bar
    peak full boost in 1st and 2nd (3000 rpm = 0.8 - 0.9 bar (drops as revs rise)
    full boost in 2nd (6000 rpm = 0.5 bar (I think)
    peak full boost in 4th and 5th (3000 rpm = 1.1 bar (holds for a while before dropping)

    So, am I healthy?

    cheers n

    Smells about right there for a stock ABY.

      Thanks Paul, that's good to know

      I assume the higher boost in 4th and above is overboost, so I guess that all is well with ma toy
