    ErWin

    Hi Guys,

I've just subscribed to the ErWin 3b engine booklet and downloaded it to work.
However, I think with password and access issues for my work's server I don't think I'll be able to read it from there. If I download it again from home will they charge me for it again?

    Cheers,

    Andy

Your payment is for a one year subscription for the chosen manuals. Your password will only work for one year.

I used Pdffactory Pro http://www.pdffactory.com/ to print files to pdf - then you can use it anywhere.

Have you noticed that the size of the resultant PDF is considerably larger than the original since it is printed as raster graphics?

          Thanks,
          Nuvo.

I am sorry if I offended anybody

My logic is simply that you can print the manual to paper, why not to file? If you do not have an internet connection (like in your garage or at the race track) you can't use the manual

You can take a printed copy of the manual with you surely?
Put it in a binder and you have a handy reference you can access at any time without the need for a computer and network connection. I put each page in PVC pockets to keep the pages clean too.

Working with a paper copy is much more workshop friendly too, don't you agree?

I have bought 7 erWin manual and to print all of them will kill off a part of the rain forrest! I have printed the most important ones though. The thing is that modern cars you always need to have your laptop in any case to run VAGCOM.
