Re - Map, Upgrade For 1991 Audi 100 q Turbo?

I've got a 1991 Audi 100 Avant quattro turbo (MC 165 PS). Is there any way of increasing the performance to at least 200 PS, as in the 200 quattro 1B? Some say replace the ECU with one from the 1B engined car and take it from there.

Can these cars be re - mapped? I could replace the engine with a 3B unit, but I'd rather install something else, like a 4.2 V8 32V and supercharge it with an Eaton 112, so whatever I do now to boost power is short term, while I source an ECU for the V8 - I already have the engine and wiring harness, plus an Eaton I won off eBay 3 months ago...
