I have the zeitronix one and it works fine. I don't use it very often though, as my main wideband kit from www.wbo2.com is fully integrated in a multi-display with intake temp and EGT displays as well, and this is what I tend to use most of the time...

Good stuff though, decent people to deal with, and hopefully their boost gauge function is going to work soon up to 3.5 Bar absolute, instead of 1.72...

Thanks Mihnea. The http://www.zeitronix.com unit has a option to do logging of EGT, boost and also Lamda. It seems the least expensive kit to be honest and does most everything i would need and more. I will ask them about the boost limit issue. Anyone else?

Apparently their new units measure boost up to 2.4 Bar relative... that's really good, I'll have to email them to see how I can update my existent unit...

        Cheers,

        Mihnea

PS: the reason I'm not using the zeitronix unit permanently is because I like to see intake temps as well as EGTs, not only one of them, and their ZT2 unit can't display temps from a K-Type thermocouple under 200°C, so that excludes intake temps...

Ahh i see. There is also a universal input, i have emailed them to ask if thats a 0-5volt or what. I may be able to use that with a simple opamp to give me intake temp also. Also i have asked if a group buy will drop the $$$. Will keep you all informed. Thanks again Mihnea.

The universal input is 0-5volt, i dont have anything plugged into that point at the
moment, sounds like a good idea diesel des

If You plan to install an uego permanently into Your car, I recommend AEM gauge type one.

Also Innovate Motorsport unit has datalogging in this "palm" unit, and has PC configurable 62mm display, but it's a bit pimp if U ask me...

Thanks all. Here is what i got back from Zeitronix

Thank you for your interest in our products.
You can measure the intake temps in raw voltage using any RTD sensor connected into the User input.

                Thanks,

What sort of prices did you get back for volume discount

Did you get anywhere with the air intake temp sensor solution

I'm interested if this hasn't gone through yet...

                  cheers

The discount was small a max of 5%. The inlet temp can be made work on both systems. I will be ordering 2 in a few weeks. Thanks, des.

                            WB lambda sensor location..

                            Hi
Is it ok to install the wb lambda sensor in the stock sensor location?

Was reading the Zeitronix pages regarding installing http://www.zeitronix.com/installatio...structions.pdf and it recommends placing the sensor at least 16" after the turbo. On my 3" downpipe the sensor is 4" after the turbo.

What do tuners do, I hardly believe they weld on a new bung for mapping?

                            Cheers,
