You can change the style the forum displays by selecting your preferred style at the bottom left of the site.
We have made an enhancement so that old threads should now link from search results to the correct thread. This is not yet in place for single post links
Greg, when u say dash gauge, do you mean the centre console oil pressure gauge sender? this sender is the 'tin can' in the middle of the block, thermostat side. you know... the one that's a real pig to get too!!
Thought it was gonna be that one. I only had the rad out a few weeks back to change them because I had a massive oil leak from there. Could I get these symptoms if the wires are on the wrong way around?

Sounds like the gauge is running either "on" or "off" so may be a dodgy wire or short?
Would make sense if it just flies straight off the top of the scale

thats what im thinking, when I changed the sensor there was an orientation for the wires to go onto btu it wasnt clear which way they had to go on. It has been working so must be a dodgy wire I think
