    Cooling! Help urgently needed

Just bought an imaculate audi s2 coupe (aby),
Its fast as hell, almost as fast as my mates impreza type uk 2003 with the PPP on it, thats 315bhp!

Wel to the point, the turbo is getting v.v.v.v.v.v.hot it glowed on me last nite and made a heat sheild cach fire! tat was after +350 miles of constant med-hard driving!

What can i do to cool the aerea of the turbo down?

Has an AmD chip but thats about it for power mods!
Probably the longet S2 project in history EVER!

Cooling underbonnet temps can be done several ways. ApNess used bacofoil to good effect. Personally, I find ceramic coating the turbo and down pipe works well. Also, I am surprised your heat shield caught fire. That shouldn't happen anyway. Try putting some bacofoil over the heat shield too

My turbo did that once, but after I changed the oil cooler, it has not happened again. I have also seen my oil temperatures lower. Make sure your oil cooler is not blocked and is working correctly.....

P.S. It is not cheap especially if you need the cooler pipes too (I did )

      And

      Cheers.
