Strange problem today, any ideas?

After about 150 miles of motorway driving the car suddenly started to drive like a pig with WOT. When I put my foot to the floor it kind of juddered, like the engine wasn't fueling, or the air filter was blocked, I dunno. Boost was fine, pulled fine when accelerating gradually.

I pulled in to the services for some chow, but I pulled out the ECU fuses before I went in. Had some food, came back out and refitted them. Problem gone.

Then drove all the way back from Manchester to Cardiff, no problem.

Any idea what may have caused these symptoms and why they would suddenly disappear again?

Could be related to the puffs of black smoke on track? Maybe the start of a boost leak.

Get the codes and get it pressure tested.

I was off to be a witness to a local drag meet and decided to take a short cut through a dodgy side on town.
I pull up to a traffic light and my car switches off and refuses to start.
after craping myself out with my doors locked and trying to avoid the criminal eyes knowing im in distress and on my cellphone, she starts up about an hour later as if nutting happened.

problem hasent repeated itself, i guess it's electrical.
