u guys think its sensible to rebuild a engine thats done 200k and boost it to 500 / 600 hp? or would it be more sensible to buy one half milage?

I dont think its wise to boost a standard engine to 500 - 600 hp,with the standard bearing, headgasket and rods. If think rs2 spec is the limit with standard rods and bearing (you will need a metal headgasket lots earlier) I am also doing the rods and mine engine only did 90.000 miles.

Well if you do a complete rebuild then you will have a brand new engine and it shouldn't matter what the previous milage is/was.
