    Dupre motosport tuning.

    hi guys,

    I have one question.

When I bought my car it was tuned by Dupre motosport. Original k24 and chipped.
All was fine until I changed turbo (t04/k26), rs2, and freeflow exhaust.

Then I got some different software for testing.
The thing why I' m posting this thread is next: I have one audi 200 ECU, with 200 map sensor and owner of it says, that I WILL CUT boost @ 1bar, witch is normal in my point of view with that sensor.
But what happened when I tried this ECU. I get at least 1,9bar overboost with no any cutoff problems what so ever. The hose witch is coming form IM is regular, not any changes. I have splitter just before ECU and my turbo gauge is showing that kinds of number. Gauge is fine.

Now I have the question. Why the boost isn' t cutted of with my car? What may cause that?

    with best regards,

    with best regards,
    Two possible reasons:

    a) Your gauge is showing absolute pressure. It means with hose disconnected it shows 1 bar (atmospheric pressure). So it's normal to show 1.9 bar with audi 200 ecu (it has no overboost but limits boost to "real" 0.85 bar, which you can see as 1.9-1.8 bar on such gauges)
    b) "200" ECU you are using is somehow (badly ?) modified. You are right - in stock form it has no 150kpa (aby/aan) or 200kpa (adu) MAP sensor, so it cannot handle such a boost.
However I believe, you should blow your engine with 1.9 bar ... Very soon. Because stock injectors and exaust manifold can barely hold such boost properly. So you hit such boost, go lean and bang

      hi

      a) It' s showing a real overboost. First time when I got this car and just added the gauge (chipped with k24), and it was showing max. 1 bar overboost, witch is normal that kind of tuning.

      I'm using a http://www.autogauge.com.tw/ gauge.

      b) Hmm, possible, but I got this kinds of boost number even with my own modified ECU, witch has written 200kpa map. And how 200ECU will cut boost, with he' s car?

I have allready the problem with a/f. With 3 gear and up, a/f isn' t rich anymore, it' s optimal, near to rich. I asked one thread about 7A FPR, and if I remeber correctly, You aswered there.
      Ano one more thing . . . I'm not using a regual EM, I'm using a ADU' s one.
But about blowing . . . couple a day ago it did happened. I blowed a head gasket. It was original, written on it west - germany, not the steal one. Because I was tesing my car with different software and it was 4 gear with 6000rpm approx. (and approx. 1,8bar overboost), both of radiators are death too. All so that pupm, witch sould be cooling a car after a stop, I really don' t know the exact term of that.

But why the boost isn' t cutted off?
