We have made an enhancement so that old threads should now link from search results to the correct thread. This is not yet in place for single post links

Can I refurbish my old ones (125k)? I've heard titanium are no good, only last 2-3k miles,
Maybe stainless steel are the best?
Your valves should be ok.
Measure the valve stems and check them for wear.
They are very hard and the other parts that they come into contact with tend to wear first. Valve guides etc.
