S2 3B ECU and engine harness questions

    Gents:

Finally getting serious about converting the US spec 1990 Coupe Quattro to an ersatz 3b S2. A few years!!! ago I purchased and imported an 200k mile 3B S2 motor and ancillaries from All-Audi. The engine rebuild is nearing completion [nothing but a refresh (new piston rings, rs2 main bearings, new oil pump, rebuilt head and RS2EM)]

Now I am trying to sort through the wiring - when I asked AllAudi to send me as much of the wiring as they could, they listened....sent almost everything, including the fusebox and relay panel - I promise to post a picture of what an aftermarket immobilizer installation did to the ignition switch wiring (melted)- luckily I will reuse the 7A wiring there.

I compared the S2 3B ECU harness to the US 200 q 20v 3b ECU harness and they are different(even the wire colors on "obvious" connectors). I've tried to map out what some of the connectors are based on their "logical location" ie, where they come out of the main harness, so things like the obvious injectors, ISV, dist hall connection and TPS are together...

What I DO need some clarification on, are the differences (if they are any) between an 3B S2 LHD and RHD when it comes to the ECU harness. For the LHD 20v Coupe Quattro, the 7A ECU is located between the evaporator and the firewall on the passenger (right side) . I saw a picture in the thread on Paul's homefries, which evidently shows this to be the same on the RHD 3b S2s - but the ECU is on the left side....I'll try to work out what;s what based on the stuff at S2.net.

Any pictures of the ECU harness on the firewall side showing the difference in where the harness enters the firewall would be greatly appreciated!! especially if someone could share a LHD and RHD versions.

I'm also interested in how/where the carbon canistor is located...in the US 200 20v 3b, its in the passenger (Right) fender - so the harness connections are on that side (along with the MAF and starter)

Again, pictures would be GREATLY appreciated!!!

I chose not to choose life: I chose something else. And the reasons? There are no reasons. Who need reasons when you've got quattro?
