After searching high and low, I have managed to get a local firm to make up a core plug for a K26 turbo on a 10V engine (MC). Trouble is it's the core plug closest to the engine block, is there a way of fitting it without having to remove the turbo
. Not really keen unless absolutely esential.
I have been advised it can be fitted using a G clamp or similar tool, simply wind it in with a nut on the core plug to press it home. Any ideas on this?
Thanks go to Essex Turbochargers for giving me precise dimensions and PGB Engineering for making up the plug at short notice.
