Just had diagnostics done from a reputable autospark. It would appear it ain't the distributor that's the problem at all.. as car still runs when distributor is disconnected. Included in the fault codes I had pulled earlier was code 00513 which indicates a faulty Engine Speed Sensor. Can someone please verify the part number for this? Or indeed if someone has a spare?

Was that code pulled when the engine was off?

Did it start with that hall sender pulled off and rev ok?

I know where you're coming from Doug. Code was pulled with engine running. TBH never stopped and tried a re-start with the Dizzy disconnected, but as it still runs when disconnected, then surely this cannot be the cause of it cutting out?????

Use the print screen key located on your keyboard m8, afterwards copy and paste...

I use ctrl+print scrn to print the active screen the resize in photoshop.

Because i have a spanned desktop, print screen will take a screen shot of the complete desktop spanning 2 monitors!

thats still not working for me mate press print screen wont give me the opition to copy and paste
