oil pressure gauge

my oil pressure gague goes off the clock 5 bar plus . when you turn the key to full ignition. with out the engine run. any guess. the volt gaue is fine the oil temp is fine. it only the oil pressure gague.

Yeah I have the same problem on mine. I changed the sender a while back and it worked fine to start with but has a short or a break in cct now

Anyone know the solution to this? Mine is now doing this so i definately have a short circuit somewhere as per the other thread!
