Could This Be The Coil Packs??????

HI ,,,,

some help required....,
when under full throttle it seems to be holding back intermittingly , , then al is ok when furhter up the revs!!! only other thing a noticed that when at idle u can feel it a bit missing , not any idle probs, just like a miss fire..

no smoke from the rear when this happens ,

i have read into a few threads on this and form what i read is this good chance its the coil packs??? or something else??
how much are these packs and where is the best place to source these?
any pointers would be great many thanks dave..

There are plenty of things to check before jumping in at the deepend with coilpacks!
When i replaced mine i changed all 5, seems pointless trying to find the dead one, that cost me £360 from memory.

Have you checked other items, what condition are the spark plugs in for instance?

,, i have fitted new plugs about 2k ago ,, but i will have to check them once again ,,

just clutching at straw`s ere,, like most, ,, i will check plugs for condition and torque.. would be nice if was something simple but hey wishfull thinkin ..

Can you swap the MAF with someone locally?
This will eliminate an expensive item!
When was the last time your lambda was changed? 60k miles is the max reccomended from Bosch.
Coilpacks and the MAF and the big spend items.

coil packs ????

hi , lamba probe changed in the last few months .. not aware of anyone locally to be able to change maf,, does the maf come as one unit,:i.e, with the wire part??,,
as a few weeks back i had this out and found to be in spotless condition, ?

is there an alternative vehicle that the maf`s are the same??
