Just had a thought. Could it be the water pump?
The thermostat was rusted shut and into the chamber when I replaced it!!!

i did rs2 spec 90 quattro about 15 months ago and it has been worth every penny, i got exactly what i wanted.The car puts out around 340 bhp and simply flies but now i have just bought my dream car a ur quattro 20v which i hope to take to around 500bhp.
