    Fuel Pump - Urgent!!!

    Hello freaks!

I´m im Holidays with my S2, and the engine has stoped!
I saw the all electrical, because I thought that any sensor was the problem!
But I have power on the Motor.

So, my problem I hope is the Fuel Pump...
    Where is this pump?
Can anyone send a picture from this Pump????
I´m 350km far from my home... and I hope that I can go back home soon!

    Thanks for any help!

    Bye!!!
    And... Luck for me!!!

The pump is in the tank. If you pop the hatch and pull the carpet back there is an access hole you can get to it through. Its a bit of a pain to get it out but if you find the clips that hold it in and pull them apart it will slide out.

      Yeah!
      I founded!!!
But there, there are 4 cable!
Than, any one can help me with this cable?
My idea is to take direct from the batery on the right switch and see if the Pump will start or not!
Any one have any other idea to test????

Be careful if you apply battery power to the pump if the tank is open. A single spark could destroy your S2 if ignites the fuel vapour.

          Reguards,
You dont need to do that, you can test the fuel pump from the fuel pump relay. Also it could be the relay thats gone.

Do a search theres a diagram showing you how to test the pump from the relay on the forum.

BTW the four wires, the two thin ones are for the fuel gauge. the two thick ones for the pump. if you have a multimet you could try turning ignition on and putting an ammeter on the pump supply to see if it is drawing current?

use a piece of angle iron or similar to fit into the slots then twist and the retaining clip will come off. Open up and undo banjo on pump and wires then lift basket out and unclip the pump

                this should help http://www.s2forum.com/forum/showthr...=bosch+fitting
