    Fuel Leak

Discovered this while replacing clutch and flywheel.
The heat shield had held alot of debris that had eaten away the plastic coating covering the supply line from the fuel filter. Fuel line was so thin where rust had eaten away the line that it fractured when pulled away from mounting.

Yes, solid subframe bushings fitted front and rear. Front subframe bushings are offset 12.5mm. This is all that the mounting bushing bore will allow with 10mm mounting bolts.
S2 are 12mm? Upper bushing is 1/2 thickness to move subframe upwards to effect a favorable camber curve. Also, the mounting points of the front control arms are within 1mm of each other as measured fore/aft. This "leveling" of the lower control arm enhances anti-dive charachteristics.
Initially, with the subframe bushings in the standard posistion I swapped the front ball joints left/right. This allowed over 6 degrees of caster. With the camber set at -1.5 degrees the vehicle "stuck" real good in a corner. There were fouling issues with the axles contacting the frame and the tire/wheel assembly (205/60/15) with the inner wheelhouse liners. Also, the wheel sat noticably foward in the wheelarch. I had to return the ball joints to their original posistion.
When I installed the new clutch and alloy flywheel I reworked the subframe bushings to move the subframe foward. I now have just over 4 degrees of caster.
