    Oooh! More VooDoo....

As some of you know i use (and recommend) a boost controller for the more adventurous souls out there. I had bought and installed a Gredddy Profec B specII controller and i can say that it does exactly what it says on the tin. At the price you are getting a reliable product that uses quality components and is reletavely simple to set up. I hankered after the extra functions of the Apexi unit though and was thinking of just changing to that unit. As with everything, research first though. I wanted the versatility of something that i could tweak to my hearts content, then i found the Blitz i-Colour. Oh boy, this has got it all - "BOOST, TACHO, SPEED, POWER, TEMPERATURE (water/oil), OIL PRESSURE, FUEL PRESSURE, AIR/FUEL ratio and External Voltage Input" Okay, you need a couple more sensors for a couple of functions, but boy, try to beat this. I'll be starting the install soon but i'm still waiting for the wideband Lambda interface (not yet released) the other functions will be working on the whole though and i'm going to have a bit of a poke around as to where the best place is to mount the display unit (it's getting a bit like mission control in there) and see how the display dimmer functions, or get brighter headlamp bulbs:-))

I paid about that delivered and i did not expose myself to import duty liability. This unit has many very useful functions and the wideband O2 sensor incorporated into the unit takes it into the realms of seriously useful tuning kit. Something to fiddle about with i suppose:-)

I'll be interested to see this when you get it fitted, you'll have to bring the S2 to the next one of our meets.
Does this mean that your boost controller might be up for sale soon? Only I might have a need for one now :mischeif:
