me again
My car almost did the first 1000km with this turbo, and its time to push it to the 1,45bar instead of the 1,3bar...
I have the standart remap of mihnea
Yesterday, i rev the car in 4th on a hard climb to see the boost:
2000rpm -> -0,8 bar (pedal released)
2001rpm -> 0,0bar
3000rpm -> 1,0bar
4000rpm -> 1,3bar (that i thing is the hy value (3500rpm to 4000rpm), and then in the boost gauge, the needle starts to tremble)
5000rpm -> 0,8 bar (
is less that stock chips i think)
7000rpm -> 0,7 or less (less than stock)
So i was thinking that the spring of wastegate was weak because it was opened and cleaned ... and the screw was released (just 10mm or less measured screw to the top WG by my eyes)
Today, i unplugged the WGFV (n-75 i think, a new one) in the electric connector (i think that is the correct procedure to see mechanical boost) and go it for a ride.
In second gear:
2000rpm -> -1,0 bar
2001rpm -> 0,3 bar
3000rpm -> 0,5 bar
4000rpm -> 0,3 bar
5000rpm -> 0,2 bar
So, my doubts are:
The procedure that i did today is the correct one???
The correct mechanical boost is 0,4bar, but isn't correct do 0,4 bar until the redline???
Is correct that the needle of the boost gauge tremble in the maximum boost (is a black screen auto gauge connected in the ECU pipe)???
I was thinking that the car didn't did the boost that Mihnea told me because the of the weaked WG spring, but if the car do 0,5bar mechanical, the car had to do 1,45 bar on the 4000rpm in 4th if everything is ok, rigth???
just can tell that the car is very smooth on revs, and pull strong (all my friends that have turbo cars say that the remap seems very good because it pulls hard in all rev), so couldn't be a boost leak i think
Can you give me an advices?
