I have asked about this a while back but didn’t get much luck; hopefully someone else can shed some light in my direction this time:
Audi 80 MY94 1.9 TDI with the waste gate valve permanently ticking as soon as the ignition is turned on?
I kinked the pipe to the waste gate to try to see if it would build any sign of boost but absolutely nothing? It feels like it is petrol that won’t advance the timing as it revs, it’s so flat. Like very poor fuel delivery? It has had a new filter and fuel flow is fine. I feel that the pump is simply not delivering enough fuel to create boost I didn’t get chance to take the plastic cover off the engine but with he apparent absence of a throttle cable I gather it must be fly-by wire on the throttle? Unfortunately I am quite blind because I cant read it with my non genuine VAG COM interface but if anyone could put my suggestions my I would be very appreciative?
Cheers guys! Hope you can help me out!!
