Chip or hestec system?

The question is that do you get all the power out of aby with the chip or would it be better to have this system that they sell in www.hestec.fi? Fully adjustable and goes in the original plug with an adapter. Would be nice to make few programs in dyno (race and street) and then just put one in with a flaptop on the other hand live in finland so could go to sweden and ask dahlback to put in their chip. lot cheaper because the hestec costs 2500€ inc. installation and adjusting

If huge gains where to be had from throttle bodies, why didn't Audi fit them to there race/rally cars?? I dont think i need to comment any further.

Well if that HESTEC thing is almost ten times better than the homefries then go for it ! I remain as sceptical as the next guy... The day-to-day gains on my ABY chips are less to do with maximum power (its there if you want to scream around all day) but more to do with torque - and lots of it. This is what makes the car so much more tractable and easy to drive on a daily basis And all with a pure software change that needs no mechanical changes whatsoever.

Sure I'm always interested in new tuning parts etc, but the price of that is crazy in my opinion - unless there is hard proof of its benefits - and they'd better be BIG gains if 300 Euro chips can give you ~50bhp more and ~50Nm more...
