    3B oil cooler

Does anyone know how the oil cooler unions are fitted onto the oil cooler??
I've got a new oil cooler but can't get the old unions off. Do you have to buy new ones and have them fitted with a special tool of some kind

    Cheers in advance,

    Chris

Which part is stuck? The threaded unions on the OE oil cooler are part of the unit, I don't think you can remove them.

The new unit didn't come with any unions fitted and Audi aren't listing any unions for the oil cooler All they came up with was 2 seals for the cooler.

Just looked on my system and the unions are shown on the diagram but there is no part number shown.

IIRC the RS2 oilcooler is slightly bigger then the S2. If you replace it its worth checking out.
