got back the RS2 from the garage....

And new suspension(OEM) rocks!Im amazed that it is just as i would like it to be,not too stiff, not too soft but firm!!!
Everything checks out fine except a couple of things...
Although i completely had changed the passengers side seatbelt as the ECU was giving me a fault code over there, after a brief shutoff,it came back up again and the mechanic told me that it must be some kind of connection on that side that is doing this thing. Are there any connections going from the center consoles over to the ecu?I had removed some amplifier cables from that place and while pulling them i may have screwed up the airbag connections...

Furthermore,my continuous shut downs of the car on every traffic light are gone, and yes the ISV was the problem.I got a replacement from Tots and im glad everything works fine.Consumption has also return to logical levels i might add...However,as i got to the highway to press down the gas a little bit, again got me some stumbling instead of accelerating...bumps here and there and everywhere...

Drove some more and apparently they seem to be getting less.I got some really good accelerations after a while.Could this be the ECU readdapting on the enviroment or is it some leak again???I hear the turbo winding from 3000rpm and the boost doesnt really kick in until 4000 throughout 6000(never hit the 7000mark and dont intent to either)...I only did like 20kms from the garage back home.Should i have it checked or should i continue testing??

Finally(sorry for the long post!!!) i have a feeling my brakes arent as they supposed to be...My fluids are ok,and i have no leaks. As i press the brake,it sinks deep, then starts to actually stop the car, then a little more press, and the ABS kicks in(of course,no more pressing space!!!).Then when i release my foot from the brake,it returns to normal resting point slower than usual...kind of ...slow,how can i express it.??i dont know!NOthing i have seen in other cars !Is there a brake pump on these cars?If so could these be symptoms of that braking down?
Also, while we are on the brake subject,as i take left turns, there is a really LOUD humming noise coming out from the front of the car that is excactlz the same as blowing through an empty glass bottle. If i press the brakes just a bit,it stops. It may come up again, but i always goes away if i just press the brake.

    any ideas??
    thanks

Sounds like your break bomb may be on its way out, this also looks after the power stearing and causes the red flashing (!) mark to appear. Do a search using "bomb" and you will get a lot of results.

The humming noise you are getting might be a bit of corrosion on your brake calliper pushing the pad against the disk, this is fairly common RS2/porsche calliper problem. Again to a search here and on RS246.
