We have made an enhancement so that old threads should now link from search results to the correct thread. This is not yet in place for single post links
Fitted my valve at the week-end (once it stopped raining). Every try at threading it on had the lever pointing at the ground - unprotected. Ended up taking the supplied (soft) seal off and using two standard brass drain plug washers as shims = lever pointing upwards and well out of the way.
