        Just got mine 30 minutes ago! I bought 2 and it sailed through customs too, without aditional charge. I would recommend buying 2 at a time to share postage but 3 would take it over the export TAX allowance.

        Oh yeah . Could have saved $10 for my order!

              Yep T207 is the one. I got the one with the nipple so I could attach a hose and make oil changes even easier.

                cheers - yep was thinking the same with the nipple one, rather than leaving a slick that exxon would be proud of on the drive like last time

                  Nice one Leigh ! - just ordered mine. First oil change required a 3 foot half inch drive extension and click torque wrench set solid. Twisted the extension about 130 deg before the drain plug let go - leaving me gasping on the driveway - I even left the undertray off as it was such a B**ch to get off. Off to The Autopool for its MOT tomorrow..............Cheers James.

                    @James

                    That's exaclty why I bought one. I needed to jack the car up and use a massive extention bar!

                    When I sent it for a service this time I pointed out to the guys that when I changed the oil (I do it in between services) the plug was far too tight. They said it is a mystery of the S2 they only torque them up to the specified level but they always seem to self tighten over time

                    Tight sump plugs do seem to be a recurring theme on here when people talk oil changes.

                    BTW B&Q do a red reinforced hose that fits exactly onto the nipple. Nice tight push fit. Costs about £2 a metre I think.

                      I always have this vision of some numptie with an air wrench tightening those up... Like they do on wheel nuts as well. Arses...

                        Shipping & Prices

                        Can someone tell how much the shipping costs were for one or two of these valves. There is a supplier in London but I think he's just put a £ sign where the $ sign was. Seems a bit steep.

                        Thanks

                        Alistair

                            Postage for mine was $5. That was for 2 units too!

                              Be careful with material compatibility if you are thinking about fitting this hose for draining a catch tank. For oil changes though it would be fine.
