Seriously tho', weakness was probably there already and when you did gearbox it probably started off as a pinhole and then blew itself apart. about time Martin took some ****!! I have had the lower boost hose blow off twice tonight. Must use double clips tomorrow!! Car is great, back to its old self. Its unreal that a boost leak can make such a huge difference in performance. The car goes like hell. I wish i found it earlier

Cant wait to get the external wastegate pipe made, hopefully this week??
Will be even louder, bound to get stopped with that on, I live in a small village where everyone knows who you are? What a crap area!

Did you get a free replacement on warranty Tom?

Tip from the mushybushy boys is to use hairspray on hoses that mate to metal pipes - stops them slipping off - but not permanent

I have cured the lower hose problem by using a welder. I welded a large bead on the edge of each outlet and the clip has no way of getting over this!! Now thats a top mod. Its mental. Love it, has a few flat spots in the map now.

@Mihnea, it may have had a small leak when it was setup?

I read a good way to check for leaks was to propane gas.

@Doug, yes Audi picked up the tab!! They dont know about the light mods

Josh, i tried propane around the hoses, but the hose was sealed unless it came on boost!! So it didn't show up.
