New bosh probe just arrived, Its not the same as the stock one so ill cave to cut and trim some wiring..
can any one tell me quickly of the top of there head were the probe is located?
I guess its somewhere under/near the air-box but not to sure..
@Bo - if you've got the stock airbox you might find it easier to take that off to get better access to the lambda. As Jon says, follow the downpipe from the turbo and the lambda is the probe sticking straight up at you. Easy job to replace.
Ex S2 owner, now running around in an A4 Avant quattro...
Cheers guys I really appreciate your input.
I didn’t expect an reply so quickly especially with image.
I will fit the new probe later, should increase economy a treat…
I am still running on the stock airbox but want to replace it with a filter.
The only reason I have not done this yet is because of the amount of choice in filter sizes and types.
If only there was only One! Then I could just get that and it would be so simple….
I hate choice sometimes… its just a waste of time and effort.
Thank good for forums tho, with out them I would be lost
