Thats nice! Here are also specs that say Eagle Rods!

Hey guys, just thought I'd update the forum about my 20v project since I'm getting a lot of q's about it. Here is the parts list: -7A, 2.3 block bored to 83mm -.070 Copper head gasket, block 0-ringed with reciever groove in cylinder head (now custom MLS/Copper 034 gasket) -034EFI 144mm rods...

Now we should find out if they can sell these kind of rods we need, to private customers!

I have read in the motorgeek forum somewhere that Eurospec Rods are also Eagle!

On ebay.de I saw these rods being offered for 695 euro for the s2/rs2. I believe they are being sold by a member on this forum, audspeed.

They also sell Wiseco (?) Pistons for 700 euro, 5 pieces.

Today i talk with owner to phone and he was in dyno shop because this weekend we have 1/4mile race and they fine tune the car.........dyno is Dynapack AWD model and result from today is 620hp and over 700nm torque before on last run........four gear broke on dyno He use 6 speed gearbox and i can't understand how he can broke it but....... Really engine is with JE pistons and Eagle rods and he have not problems to this time with his engine, when he race on 1/4mile he spray 100hp N2O without problems for engine too Car weigh around 1500kg and 1/4 mile times are low 11sek, usually 11.1-11.3

            Try with crower titanium rods

Crower its also a very popular Rods in USA........... for our car ask for glof aplication, cause they run with the same bore and stroke, 81,5 x 86.......... correct me if im wrong!

Crower also made titanium rods, not bad! very expensive, but 30% lighter, so you can push uo the revs more safety as dalhback! 8500rpm..........mmmmmmmmmmm

What sort of revs could you safely push with the eagle rods if you were aiming to set your engine up to 360-380BHP and as much torque as possible?
                How much are the Crowers?

                Cheers

What I have heard SPM rods are Eagle.

                  Asked Eagle about audi rods:
                  Teppo,
Sorry. We do not make rods for any Audi engines.
                  Thanks.
So they must be special ordered.

I think your right kalsket. The eagle rods must be spm. I found them on the website. Pretty interesting price as well, if they can still sell them at these prices, 132 euro a piece.

here is a pic from there website:

I can probably even buy them at export prices (105 euro)

Hmm, the ones form Dahlback are also looking pretty much the same:

That second pic from Dahlback is an Auto-Verdi, or at least it looks just like it. You can tell by the oval shaped thicker area around the big end. The other rods have a round thicker area.
