Hi i recently had a problem where i was experiencing big jolts under boost. After posting the problem on the forum i cleaned the MAF and have had no problems since. I understand the jolts were an overboost protection thing. To clear the codes i took out the red fuse with MOTOR on it for a few minutes. After i did that i took the car out for a blast which i since have read is not a good idea after just resetting the ecu. Since the problem the car does not seem as quick as it did. I have had it remapped by mihnea and doug and i used to get a big kick at about 3000rpm but i dont seem to get that now. Shall i reset the ecu again and take it easy for a few hundred miles and see if it goes back to normal? any help cheers?
Not quite the same!

I have had the same problem and it turned out to be the plug which goes onto the MAF, the contacts were dirty so i cleaned them and put contact lubricant on-never had a problem since. After resetting the ECU my car always feels a bit slow at first so i give it 20 miles before i give it some welly, seems fine after that.Everything should be made as simple as possible, but not simpler.--:Albert Einstein -
