I have been thinking about 10 injectors, but to be honest i think i am just gonna go with 5 bigger ones. Mihnea can map it so that it will be ok. @ Chris, if your ECU will map ok with huge injectors then just do 5. It doesnt look as trick as 10, but its cheaper and does the job just fine

Well think I have been convinced.... 5 it will probably be. Too many people that know have told me it will be fine so who am I too argue!
Now just chosing the right ones.
Peco now do miniature injectors. Anyone used them?

You need to see which injectors will work with your ECU setup Chris. And also you need to contact your tuner, to make such that he/she can map ok at idle etc to avoid bore wash.

Not content with alrerady being faster and having more power than me (just because I beat you last year ), you're after more power already. Guess have to keep up with the Jones's hence my quest has begun.
I am trying to get as much information together so I can throw it at my tuner, buy all the relevant parts and hope am up (or thereabouts) with you.
AFIK my ECU will run both High impedance (preferable apparently) and low impedance injectors. Not being testically minded like many bods on here, I rely on information that is given to me. SOmetimes you can ask too many people the same thing. Everyone has a different answer and I end up more confused than I started.
Same with this thread. SOme told me 10 injectors more relaible, and would avoid bore wash. But apparently this is not necessarily an issue. THen try and find the best injectors.... Peco, Siemans, Bosch, RCDevelopments, IWF.... the list goes on, but different peeps have their personal preferences.
But am slowly getting somewhere now I think????????

Chris, what is Your power goal? If I remember right You were talking about 600hp or similar? In case of 600hp, You don't need even 750's, not even to mention 1000cc.

Always prefer low impedance if ecu is capable of handling them.

You may aswell go bigger tho, as you will always want more power and at least then you have the ability to get the fuel needed, and only need to buy one set of injectors and not 2 or more

Go with big injectors instead of 8, low imp injectors are easier to control in this case a bonus. You should be able to make them iddle ok but some difference will be felt at iddle. If you are aiming for 600hp i suppose you would expect this sort of things.

Anyway some data, at 85% duty cycle 1000cc = good for 850hp
With 760cc you would be good for 650hp. The base pressure is 43.5 psi. If my target was 600hp I would go somewhere in the middle and use 880cc injectors, you would be set for up to around 740hp.
