There's even less space in the ur. We are having a problem trying to place the MAF as the tubular exhaust manifold and larger turbo don't leave much space. I'm not sure how I'm even going to put the headlight back in?

Also I appear to have less room front and back of the engine? Please excuse the dirt of the engine but it is only in. Plan is now to get it running and I can detail it at a later stage. It's running at the moment but the larger turbo is causing the overboost safety mechanism to kick in as soon as it starts spooling up.

      Maf

      Niall,

Could you bring the MAF to the pressure side, just like Jeffer???
And do you have better pics of your watercooler??
Is this cooler smaller than the stock?? (space between IM en cooler)
What setup doe you have on you 3B engine??
      What clutch do you use??

That's his Dialynx double capacity water radiator. Its not his intercooler.

I'm going to have a similar problem with the MAF on the 20v install on the 200, I did say to the owner he wanted to use the 034 ecu stuff
But there isn't really any need to swap out the motronic stuff on a 20v as the ecu can be mapped quite easily.

The plan is to have Aelred do a rebuild with forged rods etc and he has suggested getting Mihnea to remap it using the original Motronic. All in I'm looking for a target HP around 500.
The bolt on 034EFI goodies that I already have have been proven past that mark on Javad's car.
Corey is correct that the radiator is a double capacity Dialynx job. The clutch and flywheel I'm using at the moment are standard from a 200 plus it's gearbox. On the induction side I'll do a search on here for 'Jeffer' to see his setup. I have an RS2 Induction Manifold and I was planning on trying to reverse it to produce something like this:

I can't afford $1300 to buy one and I want the 'powered by PORSCHE' script. For the moment I'm using the original 10v ur intercooler.

I've been looking for details of the MAF on the pressure side and have found a few threads mention it but none give detail on where would be the best place to position it?

                      Popp off

                      Jeffer

Did you place the popp off ventil between the MAF and the trottle???
                      I think so....but not sure.

Put the DV before the MAF.

I thought it would be past the MAF, so simulate the same thing what is hapening bij the MAF when you shift a gear.
The there passes a amount of air trough the MAF, just like wat is hapening on the stock location.
So i could be wrong, becouse the direction trough the MAF differs then.
(This all in mind, using a open DV on a stock location MAF S2/RS2. )

But is the someone would could give advise about the GT2871r on a RS2 engine.
Do i need other rods than the stock???????
Do i need more to upgrade?????

                            Hey Jaap,

I thought about this turbo also, I know that someone on the forum got around 450 hp out of it. The rods will be on there limit, 550nm.
I decided to change the rods. And because of this I am no longer restricted to a maximum torque of 550 / 600 and can chose a bigger turbo

As you maybe also read on the german forum they upgraded an rs2 with the gt2871r and `only` got around 370 hp, maybe because of the rs2 EM.
Getting everything sorted out for my 5++ hp project

This was a non chipped RS2, and latter on the german is going to get some software upgrading.
But i think it wise to choose other rods.
